Snow has covered so many parts in South Africa including some parts in the Western and Eastern Cape.
SA Weather Service already predicted that “disruptive snowfalls” will be experienced over the high-lying grounds of the Cape Winelands, Central Karoo and Garden Route districts of the Western Cape as well as Karoo Hoogland in the Northern Cape.
Even, some parts of Lesotho have been coloured white by the snow.
The Transport Department also reported that the snow had prevented three trucks from travelling on the R61 between Cradock and Graaff Reinet on the Wapadsberg pass because it had left the road slippery.
Social media users have taken to their handles to share some spectacular moments as they welcome the snow flakes.
It snowed on the Rooiberge at Opsoek between Calitzdorp and Ladismit for the first time in nine years.

The snow also made Tsitsikama and Outeniqua mountain ranges along the Garden Route feel like it was Christmas already.
Snow has fallen over large areas of the Langkloof in the Eastern Cape. For the first time in many years the snow has come down to ground level. Farmers welcome the rain and snow as the area still crippled by drought. Pics courtesy of Robin Baldie #sabcnews pic.twitter.com/k3YUjzAwQN
