Here are some markets to visit:

1. Tea in the Trees

Where: Chintsa West corner, East Coast Resort Road, Amatola Coastal

2. Bathurst Farmers Market

Where: Off R67, Bathurst, Sunshine Coast

The Bathurst Farmer’s Market is known for their fresh produce, crafts and hot meals. When you visit, enjoy their homemade ice-cream and their gingerbread houses. Visitors can purchase wood art, jewellery and handmade creams and soaps. The market is opened every Sunday at 8.30 to 12pm.

3. Yellowwood Forest Farmers Market

Where? Yellowwood Forest Campsite, Morgan Bay, Wild Coast, Eastern Cape

This is one of those markets that you will fall in love with. Located at Yellowwood Forest, the market offers everything from organic vegetables, cakes, jewellery, bead work and clothing. The market places emphasis on promoting local talent. Special festive season markets will take place on December 16, 23, 28 and January 2.

4. Lavender Blue Organic Farmers Market

Where: Old Gonubie Road R102, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa

Lavender Blue Organic Farmers market is located in East London. With  a focus of fresh produce, this market is perfect for those wanting to enjoy a day out with the family. The market is opened every Saturday, from 8am to 12pm. Visitors can enjoy the food offerings, clothing section and vegetable stalls.
