The post office in Kranskop was robbed on Friday by four armed men posing as customers.
On Friday morning, four men who disguised as customers allegedly robbed a post office in Kranskop, located in Northern KwaZulu-Natal.
Unfortunately, the four men ran off with some amount of stolen money from the post office.
Nobuhle Njapha, Post Office spokesperson said after the men got into the the post office, they went ahead to take hold of the branch manager, pointing a gun to his head.
“They managed to take cash that was transferred to the counter.”
Njapha said investigations are still ongoing from the police and have made arrangement for trauma briefing for the employees present during the incident.
She further said the Post Office is trying to make improvement concerning security in all its branches.
