These parrots has the effrontery to make you feel weird when you stare at them and get replied with swear words.

Imagine having a fun time at the Wildlife park then the parrots decides to keep echoing swear words at you.

This was the experience of so many visitors at the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park in England.

The park is well known as a “zoo with more than 100 parrot species” and its quirky rainforest-like displays.

The park’s National Parrot Sanctuary is the largest in the country.

Before the parrots were added to a display, it was kept in a room to welcome five African greys.

It is however suspected that the parrots learnt cuss words while boarding together.

It was initially funny but became displeasing when it started swearing at visitors.

The park’s CEO Steve Nichols said he had been called “a fat t**t” several time he walked past their display.

“They literally, within a very short period of time, starting swearing at each other. ‘F**k off is the most common one. It’s a very easy one for them to learn”.

He said the parrots had to be moved to isolation.

Nichols said the swearing triggered a reaction that encouraged the parrots to swear more.

“With the five, one would swear and another would laugh and that would carry it on.”

“Some visitors found it funny, but with children visiting on weekends, we decided to move them.

“I’m hoping they learn different words within colonies. If they teach the others bad language and I end up with 250 swearing birds, I don’t know what we’ll do,” he said.

The birds have been isolated in order not to “set each other off”.
