A taxi crashed into the side of a bus on Thursday morning leaving fifteen people injured this morning.
ER24 paramedics together with the City of Johannesburg EMS and other services arrived at the accident scene around 7.00am.
They reported that two vehicles were found at the middle of the road on the R550 in Eikenhof.
So many people were seen walking around on the scene and a woman was found trapped inside the taxi.
The rescue medics freed the woman from the vehicle using the jaws-of-life equipment and attended to the patients.
The medics said the entrapped woman was in a serious condition while other fourteen patients sustained minor to moderate injuries.
They treated the patients’ injuries, and the seriously injured woman was given pain reliever before they transported them to the hospitals.
However, none of the bus passengers sustained any injuries.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
