COVID-19 in SA: 1,913 new infections recorded with 145 new deaths

On Wednesday, according to the Department of Health, 1,913 new infections were recorded, which takes the total number of confirmed cases to 685,155 in the country

The Department of Health has recorded 145 more deaths after they succumbed to the coronavirus, which takes the total death toll in South Africa to 17,248.

On Wednesday, according to the Department of Health, 1,913 new infections were recorded, which takes the total number of confirmed cases to 685,155 in the country.


The recovery rate now stands at 90%, which translates that about 618,127 people have recovered from the coronavirus so far.
