51-year-old Andre Pienaar who is facing charges of attempted murder, malicious damage to property, and public violence has been denied bail by the Senekal Magistrates Court in the Free State on Tuesday morning.
The Free State farmer was arrested for being linked with violence protest outside Senekal Magistrate’s Court last week.
This chaos erupted after two suspects accused of the murder of 21-year-old farm manager, Brendin Horner.
Local farmers stormed the building and demanded that the officials hand over the two suspects two them.
Several farmers gathered outside the court, court properties were destroyed during the invasion,.
Gunshots were fired and a police van was set alight.
