Cause of Newtown boy’s death found in an old car still unknown

The family of the child is still in a state of shock after the mother of the boy died few weeks ago, due to an illness. It is now preparing for the boy’s funeral and has beckoned on the public to help with donations for the funeral

It still remain unclear how two children became stuck in a car in Wellington or how one of the children died.


Earlier this week, three-years old Diego Booysen and a four-years old girl went missing in Newtown, close to Wellington.

The following day, the two children were discovered in a car which was parked few steps away from their homes, but only the girl was found alive.

The disappearance of the children stirred panic in the heart of the community and on Monday night, residents decided to search for them.

The following morning, they were tracked down in an old car parked in a yard in the street where they reside, with Booysen discovered dead.
