COVID-19 in SA: 2,055 new cases recorded with 85 more deaths

In the past 24 hours, the Department of Health has recorded 2,055 new coronavirus infections, which takes the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 708,359

On Wednesday, the Department of Health has recorded 85 more COVID-19 related fatalities in the country, which takes the death toll to 18,741.

In the past 24 hours, the Department of Health has recorded 2,055 new coronavirus infections, which takes the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 708,359.


However, the recovery rate remains steady at 90%, which translates that about 641,706 people have recovered so far.
