The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is sounding a note of warning to the public to guard against fake and fraudulent online job adverts, in a bid to make use of its name to get personal information from desperate job seekers.
An ad that went viral on social media states that an ‘election committee’ has made an announcement of 50,000 vacancies for young people.
However, the IEC mentioned that no jobs of such are currently at the organisation.
