DJ Zinhle got celebration upon celebration as she announced that the hit single, Umlilo has gone 3 times platinum.
The song features vocalist Rethabile Khumalo, and it’s won Mzansi’s hearts since it got released in 2019.
Mama Kairo shared the plaque given her and captioned it with: “How do you celebrate the fact that #umlilo is a certified TRIPLE PLATINUM single?”
Meanwhile, she’s yet to get over the celebration of her new position, as the CEO of Boulevard, which is an international sparkling wine beverage company.
She also has equity in the company.
“I actually don’t know what to say, we’ve been working on this for over a year now and at the beginning I didn’t believe it. At every meeting I’d feel like this required more from me, it’s huge, I needed to operate at a level I didn’t even know I could reach. My team and I work really hard, words can’t describe this moment. Our hard work never went unnoticed. God really is the greatest.”
