Mduduzi Zwane, also known has Cardbury who is famously known to be a stripper in South Africa has been shot dead.

The 26-year-old from Atteridgeville in Tshwane was shot 7 times and killed on Tuesday, 27th July.

Speaking to Daily Sun, the entertainer’s elder brother, Elphus Zwane (40), said Mduduzi died after he was shot in Saulsville next to a school on Tuesday morning.

“Mduduzi was on his way to the gym when unknown men in a car shot him. Witnesses said it looked as if the people in the car wanted to run him over, but then an argument ensued. But minutes later he was shot. It looks as if they wanted him dead,” said Elphus.

The brother revealed that Cardbury died in the hospital. He also added that the 26-year-old didn’t have any enemy, as he opens up to him about everything.

“He was just a happy person who was married with one child.

“We don’t know why he was killed and who took his life,” he said.

Mduduzi’s friend and colleague, Phuti “Temptation” Laka (30), said finds the stripper’s death unbelivable.

“He was an honest man. He would tell you if you were wrong and he loved people. I wish I could wake him up so that he can tell me who killed him,” he said.

“He taught me a lot of things and always reminded me to be trustworthy,” said Temptation.

“There was a time he had a gig in Jozi and afterwards, men attacked him for entertaining the ladies.

“I suspect it could be some of those bitter men who don’t understand that Mduduzi was just an entertainer.”

Gauteng police spokesman Captain Kay Makhubele confirmed that a man was shot dead by 11am, and the case is under investigation, but no suspect yet.
