Jub Jub breaks the silence in an official statement following rape allegations levelled against him by erstwhile girlfriend, Amanda du-Pont, Masechaba Ndlovu and an alleged cousin.
The Uyajola9/9 host apologised to Amanda for talking about their past relationship loosely on Mac G’s Podcast and Chill; he admits that it was inappropriate, especially after re-watching the interview.
“In the aftermath of the release of my interview with MacG I have taken some time to re-watch the interview and reflect on my words, specifically my exchange with MacG regarding Ms Amanda du Pont,” he said.
“It was inappropriate for me to discuss the details of my relationship with Ms du Pont in public, I deeply regret the incident,” he continued.
“I wish to apologise unreservedly to Amanda for the humiliation and hurt I caused her… I also apologise to my fans and the public for the inappropriate language I used during the interview,” he added.
Jub says he will allow the law take its course as regards the accusations levelled against him.
