Maskandi star Khuzani Mpungose has been accused of rape.
Former Ukhozi FM radio presenter Ngizwe Mchunu made the accusation against the star on Facebook live.
He accused him of abuse as well as statutory rape, and his alleged victim was a 14-year-old girl.
The two have been beefing for quite some time now and it looks like they are far from settling.
The self-proclaimed president said the alleged rape incident happened in Khuzani’s home in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal.
“He raped a 14-year-old girl for five days,” accused Ngizwe.
“I told him to hand himself over to the police because I couldn’t continue supporting him. He blatantly refused to do so and so, I started distancing myself from him.
“This issue is widely known at Nkandla. Even his family and government officials are aware of this. When I learnt of this incident, I immediately wanted justice for the girl, and I also availed myself as a state witness.”
Ngizwe said he supported Khuzani from the very beginning of his music career but their friendship collapsed when this alleged incident happened.
“When he joined the music industry, I gave him all my support. I even made sure he won awards. In most cases, he did not deserve those awards.
“I did this because he is talented and I wanted him to be a big Maskandi artist. My strategy worked because he gained popularity, which is what we wanted.”
