Lira acknowledges being nominated by the South African Music Awards (SAMA 28).
On Tuesday, nominees were announced in 0ver 30 categories, and the singer secured a nod at the Remix of the Year category.
The Feel Good remix she did with DJ Maphorisa got her the nomination and she’s excited, though recovering from a stroke.
“Such special news right now. Just received a SAMA nomination for my remix done by @djmaphorisa! I’m very well, slowly, slowly recovering!” she wrote on Instagram.
Weeks ago, Lira updated her fans about her health; she said she’s doing very well but the stroke affected her speech, hence she’s focusing on total recovery.
