How do couples initiate sex or what do they talk about while they are about have sex?

Interestingly, a study was conducted on the sounds that turn people on when they make love and the findings were quite interesting.

The study

Saucy Dates, an online dating agency, surveyed around 5,024 users of their online dating services and asked them about what they liked to hear during sex. They carried out a detailed study on the sounds or words said during lovemaking, which can make a couple’s sex life more exciting when done right.

Moaning topped the list

More than 90 per cent of men said that moaning turned them on. On the other hand, 77.6 per cent of women said that they liked their men to moan

Talking dirty

Around 76.8 per cent of men and 73.5 per cent of women agreed that talking dirty turned them on when they make love to their partner. However, it’s not easy to find the right word because sexual phrases aren’t easy to master and what one finds agreeable may not be the same for the other.

Heavy breathing

Heavy breathing, which is an indication of excitement, is a turn on for 60.1 per cent of men and only 45.9 per cent of women, according to the study.

What else

Besides the above-mentioned sounds, other responses that turned people on during sex include screaming, swearing, squeaking and silence. Interestingly, silence was the only response that women found more appealing than men.

What they don’t like

The respondents were also asked to share the worst thing that was a big turn off during sex. Majority of the participants said hearing the wrong name from their partner ruined their moments during lovemaking.
