Tyla has broken Master KG’s record for most monthly listeners for a South African artist in Spotify history.
She’s now the first South African artist to reach 8.3 Million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Tyla’s 2023 hit song, Water has made waves across different continents and it is still topping charts.
She dropped the music video a few days ago and it surpassed 3 million views in 3 days.
Master KG’s hit song, Jerusalema featuring Nomcebo topped charts for weeks and bagged multiple recognition.
The music video of the song is currently close to 600 million views.
However, the SA singer has knocked out the producer’s Spotify record.
Taking to Twitter, Master congratulated Tyla for the feat.
