Refilwe Mofokeng (15) raped by two boys
15-year-old Refilwe Mofokeng was reportedly gang-raped by two boys on the 17th of December.
The name of the girl tops the Twitter trend list as South Africans want the boys arrested and dealt with.
It was reported that they further attempted to murder the young girl after raping her.
“A girl, 15, was gang raped by two boys in Midrand on 17 December. It is alleged that the horrific incident was planned and organised by a mutual friend of the girl and the boys. The girl allegedly went to a braai at a clubhouse but was moved to another house by her friend,” Women For Change tweeted.
Another tweep wrote, “Here’s my honest question, is rape hereditary here in South Africa?because how can these young men plot something so evil against such a young girl, I honestly hoped the younger generation of men would be better but here we are demanding.”
