Zanda Zakuza turns 30-year-old
Zanda Zakuza celebrates her 30th birthday on the 23rd of December.
The South African star breaks the silence following months of being off social media.
She expressed gratitude to people who have expressed concern about her silence, musically and on social media.
Zanda talked about her mental health and appreciated people who have been supportive of her despite being slandered.
“Before the year ends I’d like to take a moment to say thank you,” she says. “Thank you for the times you told me you missed me, the times you asked about new music and showed interest in whatever I was up to. Thank you for listening, to old songs and the new, for keeping your faith in the girl that was… From Umvulo to Skeleton you moved with me with no questions asked .. talk about “I know my car” thank you for being my ride or die.. even when my name was slandered, knowing my character, you trusted me, even when I was struggling mentally, getting help, you waited patiently,” she adds.
“Random messages of support and encouragement… it may be little to some but to me it means the world. Thank you for getting me through. I pray for a prosperous 2024 for you, for me and for anyone who dares to be! My name is Zanda Nomfundo Zakuza, 30 years old now… and grateful.”
