A-Reece shares a valuable tip on how to become a successful independent artist in the South African music industry.
Following the success of his Kill The King: The Mixtape, the rapper penned a note on how he’s been able to unlock the secrets to achieving success as an independent artist.
“To my South African independent artists out there. don’t let the commercial scene of the music industry or major record labels marginalize you and your art. you can do it too on your own terms if you believe in yourself, study the business and create your own loyal fan base by staying consistent – it’s no secret.”
A-Reece also said he is honoured to pave the way for indie artists in SA.
“I’m honoured to be paving the way for the future indie stars this country has and is yet to produce. Long Live SA HIP HOP,” the rap star wrote.
