Motetema police station outside Groblersdal in Limpopo was closed on Tuesday after a cop tested positive for Covid-19.
Spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe in a statement said, the officer has been placed under quarantine and other members who came in close contact have been isolated.
“Community members are advised that services rendered by the Community Service Centre are available at the station as provision has been made”, he said.
However the station is expected to be completely functioning on Wednesday, 24 June 2020, after a lengthy decontamination process.
