South Africans are heartbroken again following the announcement of the passing of Minister in the Presidency, Jackson Mthembu.
It was reported that Jackson died due to COVID-19 related complications.
President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the late Minister’s death on Twitter and paid tribute.
“It is with deep sorrow and shock that we announce that Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu passed away earlier today from COVID-related complications. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time of loss,” the President’s statement reads.
Jackson trends on social media as South African’s massively express their pains and heartbreak following the confirmation of his death on Thursday morning.
