A student who erroneously got R14 million from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has returned to East London Court on Friday morning.
Sibongile Mani was accused three years ago for stealing the money that was allegedly mistakenly paid into her student account and had spent R800 thousand from the money.
The amount she was supposed to receive is R1,400 and was meant for her monthly food and book allowance.
Apparently, instead of Mani to report the incident of the wrong payment she received, she went ahead on a shopping spree that lasted for more than two months.
