LIVE: Tourism minister briefs SA on Level 2 lockdown activities



Minister of tourism Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane is hosting a virtual media briefing on Wednesday to discuss how the tourism sector would operate in this level 2 phase of lockdown .

She is set to discuss tourism-related activities under lockdown Level 2. 

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Sunday that South Africa will move to Level 2 on Tuesday, 18 August, 2020.  

This move will allow the sale and consumption of alcohol and Tobacco, interprovincial travel and the resumption of most economic activities.

However, in this briefing, the Minister of Tourism will reveal what we should expect as the Tourism sector resumes officially.

It would state its regulations and risk-adjustment strategies under lockdown Level 2.
