Former Eskom CFO’s membership became forfeited after he was found guilty of 12 from 18 charges against him by a disciplinary hearing
Anoj Singh, the former chief financial officer was initially charged with misconduct and was found guilty of not complying with laws and regulations, this misconduct has put the accounting profession in disgrace.
However, the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica) terminated Anoj Singh’s membership after he was found guilty of 12 from 18 charges against him by a disciplinary hearing.
Moreover, in July, Singh’s membership was suspended until the outcome of the hearing.
Singh allegedly played a major role in stealing from Eskom by the Gupta family and their associates.
