So many people have taken to various means to celebrate with Arbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu as he turns 89 on Wednesday.
Birthday wishes were forwarded to the Archbishop has he celebrates his birthday.
President Cyril Ramaphosa also extended kind words to the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

The President in a statement referred to Tutu as a national treasure and global icon of moral consistency, spiritual virtue and the defence of the most vulnerable people – not only in South Africa – but all around the world.
Ramaphosa said the country today was united in celebrating the passing of another year in which its people had benefited from Tutu’s wisdom, the bravery of his conviction in fighting for human rights, the warmth of his love for all South Africans and his care for humanity.
He wished the Archbishop a very happy birthday in the company of his wife, family and colleagues.
