Kaizer Kganyago, Special Investigating Unit (SIU) spokesman will be set to question Khusela Diko – presidential spokesperson this week as regards the recent PPE scandal in Gauteng.
The PPE scandal in Gauteng also implicates Khusela’s husband – Madzikane Thandisizwe Diko and Bandile Masuku – Gauteng Health MEC.
Apparently, Royal Bhaca (a company owned by Khusela Diko’s husband) received a PPE contract worth R125 million.
However, the SIU mentioned that it has undergone questioning with Diko’s husband.
Earlier on Sunday, a conversation was held between Kganyago and Karima Brown on the Fix.
Khusela Diko and Masuku will be handled over to the Provincial Integrity Committee after the ANC Gauteng PEC made an agreement.
Khusela Diko and Bandile Masuku have both been placed on a special leave of absence.
