The old Potchefstroom train station in the North West has caught fire. The incident saw a lot of pictures taken.
Police spokesperson – Col. Adele Myburgh made the confirmation that there was a fire outbreak at the train station on Saturday.
“There is still smoke coming from the station.”
Myburgh said that once there is a declaration of safety at the scene, a team of specialists would go there to know what caused the fire outbreak.
There’s an investigation ongoing of an inquest case.
