The Congress of South African Trade Unions are no longer patient with President Cyril Ramaphosa. They said Ramaphosa is “all talk and no action” just like the party he heads.

However, plans have been ongoing by the federation for a nationwide general strike in October. The protest will be mainly against corruption and to let know other  issues affecting workers.

Zingiswa Losi, Cosatu President said Ramaphosa is capable of empowering an action from him.

Moreover, more associates of the ANC have concurred that ongoing corruption needs to halt.

Cosatu is the latest federation to have a call on Ramaphosa to restore the trust of the people by taking a drastic action.

Bheki Ntshalintshali, General Secretary also called on Ramaphosa to “do more than speak and write letters.”
