President Cyril Ramaphosa said any ANC official who is formally charged for corruption must ceases from operating in all leadership positions.

Ramaphosa further said the party is segregating itself from those involved in corruption.

Cadres of the ANC who are formally charged for corruption or other serious crimes must immediately step aside from all leadership positions in the ANC, legislatures or other government structures pending the finalisation of their cases.”

Ramaphosa was giving his address in an ANC briefing, talking about the outcomes of the party’s National Executive Committee meeting.
